Country MCP
Country MCP (Model Context Protocol) gives MonstarX — and your generated apps — structured access to live, real-world data for specific countries. Instead of building data integrations from scratch, you describe what your app needs and MonstarX pulls from the right country data server automatically.
What it covers
Each country server exposes datasets across categories including:

How to use it
In a new project: mention the country context in your prompt (e.g. "a bus arrival checker for Singapore"). MonstarX detects the intent and connects the relevant MCP server automatically.
From the Workbench:
- Open the MCP tab.
- Select the country server you want.
- Click Playground next to any server to explore its live endpoints before building.
- Ask MonstarX to use a specific endpoint in a follow-up message.
In a follow-up prompt: Reference the data you need directly:
"Add a section showing today's PSI readings for Singapore"
MonstarX will use the Country MCP server rather than inventing placeholder data.
MCP Playground
Each live country server has a Playground link in the MCP tab. The Playground lets you:
- Browse all available endpoints for that country
- Run a live query and inspect the response structure
- Copy endpoint details to paste into a follow-up prompt
The Playground is read-only — it never modifies your project.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does using Country MCP cost extra credits?
No extra charge per MCP call. Country MCP queries are included in your standard build and follow-up credit usage.
Can my published app call Country MCP at runtime?
Yes. MonstarX wires the MCP server calls into your app's backend. When a user visits your published app, live data is fetched from the country server in real time.
What if the data I need isn't in the available datasets?
You can connect your own data source via Connectors (Supabase, a custom API, etc.), or request a new dataset via feedback@monstarx.com.
Is the data from official sources?
Yes. Each Country MCP server pulls from official government and public data APIs for that country. MonstarX does not generate or simulate the data.
